Discussion and possible action to authorize the Purchasing Agent to procure Circular Charts and required instrumentation from Sendero South, in the amount of $16,500.00 to be used as secondary backup in case the Supervisory Control And Data Acquisition (SCADA) system fails at the Rio Bravo Water Plant. [Sec. 262.024. DISCRETIONARY EXEMPTIONS. (a) A contract for the purchase of any of the following item is exempt from the requirement established by Section 262.023 if the commissioners court by order grants the exemption: (11) vehicle and equipment repairs]. Background:

Circular chart recorder for turbidity. Single Pen, single input, digital display and 40-20mA input. Installation will include 9 new recorders in proximity to each Turbidimeter. Connects to local 120VAC power source. Connection to each Turbidimeter, program and calibrate.
