Discussion and possible action to instruct Economic Development Department to commence research to assist the Mirando City Rural Water Supply Corporation in securing grants to assist with water system needs.

Background:

MCRWSC is currently under sanctions from TCEQ as a result of impending failure of their standing pipe due to corrosion. The pipe which could fail at any moment supplies water to the entire community. Its failure would have catastrophic results and leave the community without a water supply source.
