Subject:

Discussion and possible action on changes to Commissioner Pct. 1 part time budget to allow increase of weekly hourly limit from 24 to 29 and to grant an exemption to the general order by approving an increase of hourly rate from $15 to $20 per hour.

Background:

The Commissioner would like to allow current part-time employee Irma Garcia to work up to 29 hours per week instead of 25 and would like to allow an increase in her pay to $20 per hour. Ms. Garcia is a previous county employee with almost 40 years of experience.
