Discussion and possible action to approve a budget amendment to increase expenditures in the amount of $3,000.00 to Account #171-2502-6708 which currently has a balance $0.00. Available funds from Fund 171 (Federal Forfeiture) are currently $18,669.65.

Issue: Precinct 4 is in need of purchasing two (2) body armor (vests) for two full time employees who have not been issued these body armor vests.

Solution: The increase of funds will allow for the department to purchase the two (2) vests.

Result: Once purchased, the vests will be issued to the deputies and aide in increasing officer safety.
