Discussion and possible action to accept the recommendation of the Webb County Recreational Master Plan Review Committee to approve and adopt the 2015 - 2025 Webb County Recreational Master Plan for submission to the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department (TPWD) and authorizing the County Judge to sign all relevant documents.

Issue: The TPWD requires that Webb County prepare and submit a Recreational Master Plan every ten (10) years and updates every five (5) years which represents up to twenty (20) points out of one hundred (100) points in future indoor or outdoor TPWD recreational applications.

Solution: Webb County Economic Development staff and the Webb County Recreational Master Plan Review Committee members have prepared the 2015 - 2025 Webb County Recreational Master Plan.

Result: Webb County will be eligible for up to twenty (20) points out of one hundred (100) points in indoor or outdoor TPWD recreational applications. Furthermore, Webb County shall achieve the following identified goals: To provide equitable distribution of recreational opportunities throughout the County of Webb; to address the infrastructure restoration needs of existing county-owned recreational facilities; utilization of county-owned land as the most effective means of improving recreation and recreational activities; and to inventory/identify, protect and maintain physical, cultural and natural resources that are unique to Webb County
