Discussion and possible action to award RFQ 2015-004-1 Qualification for Legal Counsel to Norman Jolly, PC (sole proposer).

Issue: Webb County requested to solicit request for qualifications from legal counsel with fees for legal work to be based on a contingent fee.

Solution: The firm will be required to research, investigate, analyze, and advise Webb County on any potential legal cause of action for defective construction or warranty claims against all contractors, subcontractors, agents for the original construction of the Rio Bravo Water Treatment Plant.

Result: Award the contract.
