Discussion and possible action to authorize the purchase of One (1) Odyssey SQL Server from Dell (DIR-SDD-1951) in the amount of $11,308.22 and eight (8) SQL Server licensing from SHI Government Solutions (DIR-SDD-2503) in the amount of $18,546.20 in accordance with the Texas Local Government Code; Section 271 (Cooperative Purchasing Program), and authorizing the County Judge to sign all relevant documents; and any other matters incident thereto. Issue: The equipment for the new judicial system has not been completely acquired. This server and licenses will provide redundancy and high availability to this system

Solution: Purchase the server and licenses.

Result: Webb County Judicial System will be better protected against down time due to hardware malfunction or system updates.
