Discussion and possible action to authorize the County Judge to submit a revised County Transportation Infrastructure Fund Grant Program List of Transportation Infrastructure Projects for the 2014 CTIF program (increasing the budget for Mines Road/Eagle Pass Road by $1,000,000 and reducing Wormser Road by $1,000,00) and any matters incident thereto; authorizing the County Judge to sign all relevant documents. [Funding Reimbursement is through CTIF Program Funds TxDOT]

Background:

The increase in the Eagle Pass Road will allow the efficient use of programming dollars, since the project is already under construction and work has been ongoing, the funds had been split between 2014 and 2020 CTIF Funds. This will allow the continued rehabilitation of the road by increasing the project by approximately 2 miles. Since the Wormser Road project has not yet been awarded and construction started funds for the Wormser Road Project will be reduced by $1,000,000 and the the project funding will be split between 2014 CTIF and 2020 CTIF funding.
