Discussion and possible action to authorize the Economic Development Department to submit Amendment No.2/Modification to contract #7219173 for the Texas Community Development Block Grant Program (TCDBG) Texas Department of Agriculture to include a contract extension request for three months or until April 15, 2021, and modification to program design.

Issue: Texas Community Development Block Grant Program (TCDBG) from Texas Department of Agriculture has authorized the extension of contract No. 7219173 and the modification for performance.

Solution: The Texas Community Development Block Grant Program (TCDBG) from Texas Department of Agriculture contract No. 7219173 deadline has been extended from January 15, 2020 to April 15, 2020 and performance modification. This contract amendment and performance modification will allow the completion assistance for up to 166 Colonia residents.

Result: This extension is intended to fully succeed the completion fo assisting Colonia residents.
