Discussion and possible action to approve the execution of an Elevator Modernization contract for one elevator (Unit 1) located at the Webb County Building located at 1620 Santa Ursula (formerly the Webb County Title Building) between Webb County and Schindler Elevator Corporation (Sourcewell/NJPA Contract #100516-SCH) for an amount not to exceed $116,761.00 in accordance with the Texas Local Government Code; Sub-Chapter F. Cooperative Purchasing Program; Section 271.101 and Section 271.102, to further authorize the transfer of funds within bond series funds and authorizing the Webb County Judge to execute any and all relevant documents; and any other matters incident thereto. [2019A Bond Series; Account #3868-7230-001-443000-260 Repairs and Maintenance Webb County Building (formerly Webb County Title Building)]

Issue: Webb County Commissioners Court authorized the selection of Schindler Elevator Corporation to modernize all County elevators.

Solution: Approve the execution of the contract to authorize Schindler Elevator to order parts and schedule the modernization of these elevators.

Result: Modernizing the elevator will improve the operation and reliability of the units. Reduce maintenance costs, downtown and improve customer satisfaction on ride quality.
