Discussion and possible action to approve the execution of an Elevator Modernization contract for two elevators Unit D and Unit E for the Justice Center Building Inmate Elevators between Webb County and Schindler Elevator Corporation (Sourcewell/NJPA Contract #100516-SCH) for an amount not to exceed $237,497.00 in accordance with the Texas Local Government Code; Sub-Chapter F. Cooperative Purchasing Program; Section 271.101 and Section 271.102, to further authorize the transfer of funds within bond series funds and authorizing the Webb County Judge to execute any and all relevant documents; and any other matters incident thereto. [2019A Bond Series; Account #3868-7230-001-443000-260 (Repairs and Maintenance Webb County Justice Center)]

Issue: Webb County Commissioners Court authorized the selection of Schindler Elevator Corporation to modernize all County elevators.

Solution: Approve the execution of the contract to authorize Schindler Elevator to order parts and schedule the modernization of these elevators.

Result: Modernizing the elevator will improve the operation and reliability of the units. Reduce maintenance costs, downtime and improve customer satisfaction on ride quality.
