Subject:
Discussion and possible action to solicit Request for Proposals for credit/debit card processing.
 
Problem: There is a need for Webb County to provide alternate payment methods. In most departments, payments are limited to cash and checks. The Water Utilities Department has requested an opportunity to allow clients to pay with credit and/or debit cards. 

Solution: Implementing credit and debit card processing in a few departments will help Webb County make decisions for additional departments.

Result: The water utilities department expects to increase the number of users who pay on time, thus reducing the number of disconnect notices issued. Customer service and productivity will be improved.

Credit cards payment to service the people for water bill payments.
