Discussion and possible action to authorize the Economic Development Department to assist the Webb County Attorney’s office to submit a grant application for Fiscal Year 2015 to The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA), Center for Substance Abuse Treatment. The purpose of this grant is to expand and/or enhance the already existing Family Drug Treatment Court (FDTC) under the Webb County Attorney’s Office. To include recovery support services for substance abuse treatment, screening, assessment, case management, and program coordination as well as family-focused services in FDTC. There is no cash match and this application will not impact the County's General Fund.
