Discussion and possible action to accept the Early Head Start - Child Care Partnership Grant Award in the amount of $749,531, to include salary adjustments, effective March 1, 2015.

Background:

As part of President Obama’s Early Learning Initiative, ACF has set aside $500 million for new Early Head Start-Child Care (EHS-CC) Partnerships. These grants will allow new or existing Early Head Start programs to partner with local child care centers and family child care providers serving infants and toddlers from low-income families.

Previous Court Action:

On August 11, 2014, the Court approved the Early Head Start - Child Care Partnership application with salary adjustments.
