Discussion and possible action enter into a Twelve (12) month agreement with EcoLab for pest elimination services. Cost will be Seventy Dollars ($70) per month. [Requested by Juan Vargas, Economic and Community Action Agency Director; Accounts #952-4216-6201, #953-4201-6201 and #955-4222-6201 (Meals on Wheels)]

Issue: Current pest control services have not been able to eliminate the pest problems within the elderly nutrition program. Because this is an area where there is more food available than our typical offices, the current Webb County service provider has not provided satisfactory service to the department.

Solution: Elderly Nutrition will contract for pest elimination services as oppose to pest control services.

Result: The pest elimination service will provide the necessary elimination of pests.
