Discussion and possible action to renew a Twelve (12) month (March 1, 2016 through February 28, 2017) agreement with Ecolab for pest elimination services for the Meals on Wheels/Elderly Nutrition program. The cost will be Seventy Dollars ($70.00) per month. There will be no impact to the General Fund. [Accounts #953-4201-6201 (Utilities), #955-4222-6201 (Utilities) and #952-4216-6201 (Utilities)]

Issue: Pest control services are not able to eliminate pest problem inside and around the Meals on Wheels/Elderly Nutrition program kitchen facility.

Solution: The Meals on Wheels/Elderly Nutrition programs must contract a pest elimination service as oppose to pest control services.

Result: Ecolab provides the elimination of pests inside and around kitchen facility.

Background:

Pest control services are not able to eliminate the pest problems within the Nutrition programs facility.

Previous Court Action:

The previous action taken was to approve the agreement which covered pest elimination services from March 1st, 2015 through February 29, 2016.
