Discussion and possible action to approve the following line item transfer within the following Forfeiture funds:

Issue: Currently, there is insufficient funds under the software budget category of the Webb County Sheriff's Office forfeiture funds to be able to pay to utilize the LeadsOnline software system that allows Webb County Sheriff's Office investigators to recover stolen items that thieves attempt to sell to pawn shops.

Solution: Line item transfer of forfeiture funds from Capital Outlay to Software in order to guarantee access to these important law enforcement services.

Result:Webb County Sheriff's Office investigators will be able to continue to utilize this important technology to assist in their investigative work and some citizens whose possessions were stolen or robbed will be able to recover their valuables that were taken to be sold at pawn shops.
