Discussion and possible action to approve the purchase of needed network video recorder system in the amount of $21,846.95 from Global Technologies for the Webb County Justice Center and authorization to transfer funds from Account #175-2001-8801 (Capital Outlay) in the amount of $16,400; Account #175-2001-6228 (Firearms & Ammo) in the amount of $5,000; and Account #175-2001-6001 (Office Supplies) in the amount of $102 to Account #175-2001-6401 (Repair & Maintenance of Building) for a total amount of $21,502 to pay for this purchase; and any other matters incident thereto. Issue: System needs to be replaced.

Solution: Utilize funds from the capital outlay contingency fund for replacement.

Result: With the purchase of a new network video recorder, the Justice Center, its employees, and citizens who utilize the building will be provided with an enhanced security and surveillance system.
