Discussion and possible action to approve a Resolution regarding various compliance matters required by the Texas Department of Agriculture Texas Community Development Block Grant #7216115 (Construction of Mirando City Standpipe Water Storage Tank), and authorize the County Judge to sign all relevant documentation. [Requested by Juan Vargas, Economic Development Department Executive Director]

Issue: Civil Rights and other compliance requirements must be implemented by Webb County to be in compliance with grant funding agency program requirements.

Solution: Civil Rights must be implemented and will allow compliance of Citizen Participation Planned Grievance Procedures; Section 3 Policy; Excessive Force Policy; Section 504 Policy; and Fair Housing Policy.

Result: Economic Development Department will assure compliance with requirements from funding agency.

Background:

Texas Community Development Block Grant received from the Texas Department of Agriculture in the amount of $500,000 for water improvements in Mirando City Texas. (Mirando City Standpipe Water Storage Tank project).
