Discussion and possible action to award RFP 2017-08 "Webb County Sheriff's Office - Inmate Phone Services to ICSolutions and authorizing the County Judge to sign all relevant documents and any other matters incident thereto. [Requested by Sheriff Martin Cuellar, Account #001-2060-3727 (Telephone Commissions)]

Issue: Webb County solicited formal proposals for the inmate phone system services needed for the County jail. Five (5) proposals were submitted on time and were evaluated in accordance with the weighted criteria published on request for proposals.

Solution: The Purchasing agent has tabulated all scores and is recommending award to the best score / ranked proposal submitted by IC Solutions. IC Solutions is wholly owned subsidiary of the Keefe Group which has served the correctional industry since 1975. Currently IC Solutions is serving over 300 correctional facilities across the United States, serving more than 220,000 inmates.

Result: Secure approval from Commissioners Court and proceed in finalizing contractual agreement and continue providing inmate phone services to County inmates.
