Discussion with possible action to approve the award of project to Square E Engineering, lowest proposal cost of $23,970.00, for the installation of a new electrical panel for the Spiral operating primary screen at the Webb County Wastewater Treatment Plant in Rio Bravo, Texas. This is to include all materials, labor, initiating, and training. Project is listed as approved onto 2017 Capital Outlay projects. [Account #758-8005-8601 (2016 Bond Series)]

Issue: Installed equipment for screen continue to malfunction due to inconsistent electrical power due to old electrical panel.

Solution: Authorize issuance of purchase order to lowest & responsible bidder.

Result: Complete installation and operation of screen consistently.
