Discussion and possible action to authorize the Purchasing Agent to review solicited quotes and finalize costs associated with the equipment and parts necessary for the replacement of 3 Air Conditioning (A/C) Units (3 Ton each) located at Rio Bravo Community Center and to encumber funds in an amount not to exceed $7,000; and any other matters incident thereto. Building maintenance department will complete work associated with replacement. [Requested by Building Maintenance Department] [Capital Outlay Series 2010 Account #638-8108-8801]

Issue: Three of the Four A/C Units at the center are in need of replacement and are no longer serviceable. It is no longer cost effective to continue to maintain these units.

Solution: Review and finalize quotes for replacement of units.

Result: Replace units prior to Summer month schedule to avoid system failure.
