Discussion and possible action to authorize the Purchasing Agent to review solicited quotes and finalize costs associated with the equipment and parts necessary for the replacement of Two (2) Air Conditioning (A/C) Units (5 Ton each) located at El Cenizo Community Center and to encumber funds in an amount not to exceed $5,001; and any other matters incident thereto. Building maintenance department will complete work associated with replacement. [Requested by Building Maintenance Department] [Capital Outlay Series 2006 Account #722-8108-8801 & Capital Outlay Series 2010 Account #638-8108-8801]

Issue: Two of the Three A/C units at the center are in need of replacement. Units are no longer serviceable and are too expensive and inefficient to maintain.

Solution: Replacement units are required to avoid system failure.

Result: Have a completed A/C system in place prior to Summer month schedule.
