Discussion and possible action to authorize the Purchasing Agent to review and finalize quotes for the equipment and parts necessary for the complete replacement of the Twenty (20) Ton Air Conditioning (A/C) Unit located at Ernesto J. Salinas Community Center and to encumber funds in an amount not to exceed $12,500; and any other matters incident thereto. Building maintenance department will replace system. [Requested by Building Maintenance Department] [Capital Outlay Series 2003 Account #660-8108-8801 and Capital Outlay Series 2006 Account #722-8108-8801]

Issue: A/C is a 1989 Unit that is no longer serviceable is expensive to maintain and requires replacement.

Solution: Evaluate and finalize quotes for a replacement unit.

Result: Replace unit prior to Summer month schedule.
