Discussion and possible action to approve the addition of a 2007 Cadillac Escalade VIN#3GYFK62807G168571 as part of the District Attorney’s Office vehicle inventory, and authorizing the County Judge to sign all relevant documents; and any other matters incident thereto. [Account #001-1100-6403]

Issue: The 2007 Cadillac Escalade is part of a court order awarding the vehicle to the District Attorney’s Office. The District Attorney’s Office is requesting to add the vehicle as part of its vehicle inventory to be used for law enforcement operations.

Solution: Approve the addition of the vehicle as part of the District Attorney’s vehicle inventory.

Result: Utilize all available resources to deter and to dismantle organized crime in our community and along the Texas border within Webb County.

Background:

The vehicle was seized under Chapter 59.06 of the Texas Code of Criminal Procedure and awarded to the District Attorney’s Office by virtue of a court order. The District Attorney’s Office will utilize the 2007 Escalade and all available resources to continue its commitment to deter and to dismantle organized crime in our community.
