Discussion and possible action to enter into a Sixty (60) month (March 1, 2017 through April 30, 2022) Fair Market Value Lease Agreement between Pitney Bowes and the Webb County Tax Assessor Office for a Relay 7000 Inserting System at a cost of $1,072.85 per month (Buy-Board #496-15), subject to annual budget appropriations and authorizing the County Judge to sign relevant documents and any other matters incident thereto. [Requested by Ms. Patricia Barrera, Tax Assessor; Account #001-0700-6402]

Issue: Current lease expires 2/28/17; County Tax Assessor wishes to continue using Pitney Bowes to provide mail services to all departments and for internal use.

Solution: Approve new lease with Pitney Bowes to minimize interruption of operation. Buy-board # 496-15 expires 10/31/17. Pricing attached.

Result: Continue to provide internal mailing services for County departments and for Tax Office.

Background:

Current lease expires 2/28/17. All item pricing was confirmed as buy board pricing.

Tax Office serves as the central location for all county mail services.

001-0700-6402 Repairs & Maintenance to Equipment $4,081.03 Available Balance (Requires a line item transfer in April to cover until 9/30/17). PO will be issued for only three (3) months. Once line item transfer is completed a change order will be done to cover remaining months for fiscal year 2017.
