Discussion and possible action to authorize the Purchasing Agent to secure informal competitive bids for electrical hookups, trenching, conduit and other related work required to provide power to the entry and exit access gates and corresponding pay-stations in an amount to exceed $21,000 and any other matters incident thereto. [Account #3872-7230-001-474501 - Tex Mex Parking Lot - 2019A Bond Series]

Issue: In order to provide power to the parking management system a source of power is required. AEP has assigned an ESID number to the project site and requires the appropriate electrical infrastructure to be in place prior to connecting power.

Solution: Authorize the Purchasing Agent to secure the informal bids and issue a Purchase Order to lowest responsible bidder utilizing Bond money allocated to this project.

Result: Secure electrical power for the parking lot access system in order to operate accordingly.
