Discussion and possible action to award RFP 2020-005 "Youth Residential Drug Treatment Services" to the sole proposer SCAN (Serving Children and Adults in Need, Inc.); and to further authorize the Civil Legal Department to negotiate terms and conditions and to authorize the Webb County Judge to execute all relevant documents; and any other matters incident thereto.

Issue: Currently there are no services for adolescent male substance abuse counseling that at the Youth Village.

Solution: Award RFP to sole proposer to provide counseling services at the Youth Village.

Result: The Youth Village will have a counseling service to provide for the needs of Webb County youth needing substance abuse counseling.

Previous Court Action:

On December 9, 2019, Webb County Commissioners' Court authorized the Purchasing Agent to solicit request for proposals for counseling services at the Webb County Youth Village Rehabilitation Center for adolescent males.
