Discussion and possible action to approve the release of the withheld partial retainage payment in the amount of $12,116.87 from the original invoice amount of $242,313.00 payable to Schindler Elevator Corporation Invoice #7401514588 and authorize the County Judge to execute all relevant documents; and any other matters incident thereto. [Account #3868-7230-001-443000-255 Repairs & Maintenance Justice Center, Account #3868-206000-Retainage Payable]

Issue: Elevator improvement was completed as detailed under contract specifications.

Solution: Commissioners Court authorizes the release of retainer fee for the modernization of the Justice Center elevators.

Result: Schindler Elevator Corporation will be paid for services rendered.

Background:

Webb County Commissioners Court authorized the award of Schindler Elevator Corporation to modernize all County elevators on June 24, 2019.
