Discussion and possible action to approve a professional service agreement between Nuestra Salud Health Clinic (NSHC) and Webb County for general medical services for Webb County Employees and dependents enrolled in the employee health plan basic medical services at a fixed cost of One Hundred Dollars per hour not to exceed twenty hours per week and grant a discretionary exemption by order under the Texas Local Government Code, Section 262.024 (Discretionary Exemptions) (A.) (4) Personal or Professional Services and to further authorize the Civil Legal Department to negotiate the legal terms and conditions of this agreement; and any other matters incident thereto. Subject to available funds under Health Account; these funds were provided to the County through the Wellness and Clinical Operational Support category and therefore, will have no impact on the General Fund. Issue: To establish a pilot program delivering basic medical services to employees and their dependents with no co-pay nor claims filed on our insurance plan.

Solution: The entering of the agreement will establish the foundation for continued basic medical services to employees and their dependents with no out-of-pocket cost to the employee.

Result: The integration of medical services with a wellness program to promote employee engagement in maintaining good health.
