Discussion and possible to authorize the Purchasing Agent to purchase one mobile command center from Global Enterprise, Inc. in an amount not to exceed $382,660.00 for all labor, tools, equipment, material, shipping and project management for the manufacturing of the Sheriff’s 44ft Mobile Command Center (GSA Contract No. GS-30F-040BA) in accordance with the Texas Local Government Code; Sections 271.101, 271.102, Sub-Chapter F. Cooperative Purchasing Programs and any other matters incident thereto. [Account #2475-3010-001-470000 Capital Outlay – Operation Loan Star Grant #4376701]

Issue: Homeland security/border security matters require force multiplier technologies.

Solution: Utilize the GSA Cooperative Contract to purchase the Mobile Command Center funded with Operation Lone Star Grant funds.

Result: Proceed with order if approved, built estimated time of completion is 120-210 days.
