Discussion and possible action to adjust pay rates for County Court-at-Law II DWI Court Program Staff associated with SAMHSA Grant Award #1H79TI081049 (TI-18-008) and request County Judge to execute all other matters incident thereto. Both of these positions do not fall under the County’s Wage Plan, and are funded 100% by grant funds. Both positions are also subject to annual evaluations by the Department Head, and are entitled to additional increases under the grant. There will be no impact to the General Fund.

Issue: These proposed salaries are reflected under the SAMHSA grant in County Court-at-Law 2 (TI-18-008) as approved by SAMHSA in the Notice of Award for Grant YR4 FY2021-2022.

Solution: The project respectfully requests approval on salary adjustments.

Result: Both positions will be fully operational to continue to layout DWI Court day to day operations.
