Discussion and possible action to authorize the Purchasing Agent to seek competitive bids for the installation of new Butterfly Isolation Valves for the Billy Hall Building located at 1110 Washington Street in accordance with the Texas Local Government Code; Section 262.021 (County Purchasing Act) and any other matters incident thereto.

Issue: Currently the Billy Hall Building does not have isolation valves at each floor. Installing isolation valves will help stop a potential leak of pressurize water from our chiller system and will isolation the leak and prevent interruption of cooling system to other floors to include potential water damage to county property.

Solution: Authorize the Purchasing Agent to seek competitive bids as per State Law.

Results: Secure competitive pricing and present to Court for award to lowest responsible bidder.
