Discussion and possible action to approve the closeout and release of 5% retainage in the amount of $20,224.50 to Anderson Colombia for the construction of the Texas Community Development Block Grant Program, TCDP Contract CDV21-0485, Community Development Fund-Pueblo Nuevo Street Improvements Project and have the County Judge sign any relevant document and any other matter incident thereto. [Account #3521-206000 (Retainage Payable)]

Issue: Five percent (5%) of the construction project amount is held in retainage from the contractor for 30 days from completion date of each project to ensure that any deficiencies which may arise are addressed by the contractor. The contract amount is $404,490.00 and 5% retainer amount is $20,224.50.

Solution: Commissioners Court authorizes the release of the retainer funds to the contractor.

Result: The contractor will be paid for services rendered.

Commissioners Court approved the acceptance of the Texas Community Development Program (TCDP) contract # CDV21-0485 from the Texas Department of Agriculture (TDA) in the amount of Three Hundred Fifty Thousand Dollars ($350,000.00) and One Hundred Sixty-Nine Thousand Seven Hundred Four Dollars ($169,704.00) coming from County match funds and authorize Webb County Judge to sign all relevant documentation.
