Discussion and possible action to authorize the Purchasing Agent to solicit bids for the Las Lomas Road Paving Project as per Webb County and the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) specifications pursuant to the Texas Government Code; Subchapter C. Competitive Bidding Method, §2269.101 (Contracts for Facilities: Competitive Bidding and to further designate a licensed engineer from the Engineering Department to prepare the construction documents required for this project in accordance with §2269.101 (Use of Architect or Engineer) and any other matters incident thereto. [2020 County Transportation Infrastructure Funds (C.T.I.F.)]

Issue: The Engineering Department will prepare plans, specifications and estimates for the paving of Las Lomas Road.

Solution: Formal bids will be solicited by the Purchasing Department.

Result: Safe roads for the residents of Webb County.
