Discussion and possible action to accept the rankings and award Request for Proposal (RFP) 2024-003 "Webb County Fairgrounds - Floral Designer Services" to the highest ranking respondent, Narvaez Flowers and Gift Shop, in accordance with the Texas Local Government Code; §262.030 (Alternative Proposal Procedures for Certain Goods and Services) and to further authorize the Civil Legal Department to negotiate the terms, conditions and related fees of the service agreement and any other matters incident thereto. Issue: Commissioners Court authorized the Purchasing Agent to seek proposals for floral designer services for the Webb County Fairgrounds. Three (3) respondents submitted by deadline and were evaluated as per weighted criteria published.

Solution: Consideration to accept the rankings and award to the highest ranking in accordance with the Texas Local Government Code; §262.030 (Alternative Proposal Procedures for Certain Goods and Services).

Result: If approved, authorize the Civil Legal Department to negotiate the terms, conditions and fees of the service agreement and return to Commissioners Court for approval to execute the agreement.

On November 13, 2023, item no. 16e., the commissioners court authorized the purchasing agent to advertise for formal request for proposals for florist services for the Webb County Fairgrounds Facility.
