Discussion and possible action to accept the County Engineer's and the Bruni Rural Water Supply Corporation Board Member's recommendation to accept the cost estimates for the Chemical Analysis from AnaLab and cost proposal from Norris Leal Engineers for Engineering Services for the Bruni Water Filtering System (Arsenic Removal Water System) Project in the amount of $40,804.00. The funds were contributed by Whitetail Wind Energy, LLC for the purpose of installing a water filtering system (Arsenic Removal Water System) in Bruni, Texas for the Rural Water Supply Corporation.

Background:

Arsenic Removal Water System in Bruni, Texas (in an amount not to exceed $400,000.00) was one of the requirements outlined in a Tax Abatement Agreement between Webb County and Whitetail Wind Energy, LLC, approved by the Webb County Commissioners Court on August 2, 2012.
