Discussion and possible action to approve a Resolution authorizing the following County Officials: Honorable Tano E. Tijerina, Honorable Frank J. Sciaraffa, and Honorable Rosaura “Wawi” Tijerina to be designated as Authorized Signatories for the Texas Department of Agriculture for the Pueblo Nuevo House-to-Line Water & Sewer connection Project (TCDP Contract #713015).

Issue:    In order for Funding Agency to process request for payments Form A202 designating authorized signatories and resolution needs to be approved by the Court (New Elected County Judge). We are updating form.

Solution:   Webb County will submit executed resolution and form A202 to funding agency.

Result:   Naming the appropriate signatories as the authorized officials will ensure funding process is followed.

Background:

A previous resolution on this project was approved by Commissioners Court, but with a new administration, a new Resolution needs to be approved by the Court.

Previous Court Action:

On September 9, 2013 Commissioner’s Court accepted this grant from the Texas Department of Agriculture for first time Water & Sewer House-to-Line Connections in Colonia Pueblo Nuevo.
