Discussion and possible action to authorize a professional services agreement for $73,000.00 with Gilpin Engineering under RFQ 2014-101 "Annual Contract for boundary surveyor" to Survey Webb County properties currently occupied by Life Downs, Road and Bridge Department, Camp Huisache, Medical Examiners Building, Fire Department, The Rifle and Pistol Shooting Ranges, Building Maintenance Facilities, US Department of Agriculture and surrounding areas, providing Topography improvements and boundary surveys signed and sealed by a Professional Land Surveyor; identify funding source for the actual work; and any other matters incident hereto.

Issue: Webb County doesn't have any property delimitation of several partial lots occupied by different entities. These subdivided properties came from a Warranty Deed originally containing approximately 1159 acres.

Solution: Commissioner Court to approve and assign an account and allocate sufficient amount of funds to hire an Engineering Firm to provide surveying services.

Result: Webb County will be receive surveys and Metes and Bounds description showing the existing improvements in partial subdivisions with better delimitations to be attached to instruments for future decision making.
