Discussion and possible action to approve a revised Resolution of Governing Body pertaining to CH-Border Prosecution Unit Grant Number 2466304 whereby the designation of the Authorized Official is changed from Danny Valdez to County Judge Tano Tijerina.

Issue: The current resolution and grant materials identify former County Judge Danny Valdez as the grantee’s authorized official who has the power to apply for, accept, reject, alter or terminate the grant on behalf of the applicant agency, Webb County Commissioners Court.

Solution: Revise the resolution to name the current County Judge, Tano Tijerina, as the authorized official.

Result: Naming the appropriate individual as the authorized official will ensure the orderly implementation and administration of grant provisions.
