| Discussion and possible action to purchase, preserve and image case files from Kofile Technologies in an amount not to exceed $150,000.00 for the Webb County District Clerk's office pursuant to Sections 271.101 and 271.102, Subchapter F, Cooperative Purchasing Program, Texas Local Government Code (TXMAS 13-36010). Issue: The District Clerk’s Office currently has 89 boxes that contain historical civil case files. The files are in poor condition (brittle and yellowed). These files need to be restored and preserved permanently.
Solution: Approve the quote provided by KOFILE Technologies in the amount of $149, 993.59 to preserve and digitize historical civil case files (only 8 of the 89 boxes).
Result: District Clerk’s historical civil case files will be restored, preserved and digitized as per Government Code Sec. 51.305 District Court Records Technology Fund.
