Discussion and possible action to ratify a Sixty (60) month (September 1, 2016 through September 1, 2021) rental agreement between Stor-More LTD #2 and Webb County Head Start, for Two (2) storage units at a cost of Three Thousand Eight Hundred Fifty Dollars ($3,850.00) per year for the total amount of Nineteen Thousand Two Hundred Fifty Dollars ($19,250) over the term of the agreement, subject to annual budget appropriating, and authorizing the County Judge to sign and execute all relevant documents. Issue: The Webb County Head Start program had previously processed payments for storage space rental via an invoice attached to a General Request for Payment.

Solution: Ratify the attached proposed Rental Agreement between Stor-More LTD #2 and Webb County Head Start and pay past due months.

Result: The Head Start program will be in a legal contract with Stor-More LTD #2 and will be current with rental payments.

Background:

The Webb County Head Start program has been leasing storage units from Stor-More LTD #2 for approximately twenty years. The program would pay for space rental via an invoice attached to a General Request for Payment. Webb County is requesting that the program enter into a legal rental agreement.
