Discussion and possible action to approve a lease agreement between Webb County and Enterprise Fleet Management for a 48 month term at an annual cost of $58,805.52 and a One (1) time after market cost of $4,860.50 (TIPS #2072816) in accordance with the Texas Local Government Code; Subchapter F. Cooperative Purchasing Program; Sections 271.101 & 271.102 and authorizing the County Judge to sign all relevant documents; and any other matters incident thereto. Issue: Court authorized the lease of non pursuit law enforcement units for the Sheriff's Office and for the Constables Office for prisoner transport, mental health transport and for the Gaming and Licensing division.

Solution: Approve a 48 month lease contract with Enterprise Fleet Management as instructed by the Court.

Result: Provide safe and reliable transportation for Jail, Mental health and Gaming and Licensing divisions of Webb County.

Background:

Court authorized a leasing contract for units that are for law enforcement use but will not be used for high pursuits. Court instructed staff to use Enterprise fleet management. Enterprise currently has a fleet management contract award through TIPS (Cooperative Purchasing Network).

Previous Court Action:

Approval by Commissioners Court to lease out law enforcement non pursuit units for the Sheriff's Office and Constable Pct. 1.
