Discussion and possible action to approve Amendment #1 to Contract Number #61200003237 for the Community Services Block Grant Program (CSBG) from the Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs (TDHCA) for the Program Year 2020, in the amount of One Hundred Forty-Four Thousand Five Hundred Twenty-Eight Dollars ($144,528.00). This Amendment #1 will increase funding from $82,736.00 to $144,528.00 and authorizing the County Judge to sign all relevant documents. This action will not have impact to the General Fund. All required documents were sent for review through the Economic Development Department and the solicitation with the Webb County Single Point of Contact (SPOC) procedures. Issue: Approve funding increase Amendment # 1 for the CSBG Program Grant from TDHCA for the Program Year 2020 in the amount of $144,528.00.

Solution: The Community Services Block Grant Program (CSBG) provides support services to eligible elderly, disabled and low income residents of Webb County.

Result: The support services are intended to assist eligible Webb County residents to transition out of poverty.
