Issue: The Webb County Youth Village is in dire need of a Training Officer in order to provide certification/re-certification training for Juvenile Probation Officers and Juvenile Supervision Officers.

Solution: Training Officer will be dually certified as a Juvenile Probation Officer and Juvenile Supervision Officer and will provide year round training to staff to meet certification and re-certification hours required by the Texas Juvenile Justice Department.

Result: Training Officer will provide initial/reoccurring training certification/re-certification for all department employees to meet the requirements of the Texas Juvenile Justice Department.
