Discussion and possible action to enter into a 12 month rental agreement (February 1, 2021 through January 31, 2022) between Barker Ground Services, Inc. and Webb County for the Webb County Sheriff's Office for approximately 780 square feet of hangar space and 132 square feet of office space located at the Laredo International Airport, Laredo, Texas in the amount of NINE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($900.00) per month for a total of TEN THOUSAND EIGHT HUNDRED DOLLARS ($10,800.00) and authorizing the County Judge to sign all relevant documents; and any other matters incident thereto. [Account #170-2002-6227 (Federal Forfeiture Fund)]

Issue: The helicopter requires a place to be stored to protect it from adverse weather conditions and provide a secure location to maintain the equipment.

Solution: Rent sufficient space from Barker Ground Services, Inc. for a fixed base operations located on the Laredo International Airport premises.

Result: Hanger space will be available to maintain and secure the helicopter at the Laredo International Airport for the Sheriff's Aviation Operation.
