Discussion and possible action to authorize the purchase of five (5) OptiPlex All-In-One PC's, five (5) Dell Wireless Keyboards and Mouse, two (2) Xerox Color Printers, three (3) Fujitsu scanners, five (5) Office Professional Plus 2019, five (5) Microsoft Exchange Standard CAL, five (5) Windows Server CAL pursuant to Article 102.0173 of the Texas Criminal Traffic Judicial Code of Criminal Procedure from Insight Public Sector to be used for Justice of the Peace Pct. 1 Pl. 1 Judge Juan Paz, Jr., pursuant to Sections 271.101 and 271.102, Texas Local Government Code, Cooperative Purchasing program NCPA Contract 01-44 in the amount of Thirteen Thousand Four Hundred Forty-Four Dollars and Seventy-One cents ($13,444.71). [Requested by Judge Juan Paz, Jr., Justice Of the Peace Precinct 1 Place 1, Account #2009-2140-001-460105 (Minor Tool & Apparatus-Technology Fund)]

Issue: The Justice of the Peace Pct. 1 Pl. 1 is need of additional updated computers, scanners and printers for their department's court operations.

Solution: By the approval of use of the available Technology funds, the department can procure computer equipment needed for daily court operations.

Result: The approval of the purchase will allow the Justice of the Peace Court Pct. 1 Pl. 1 to continue to function efficiently and effectively.
