Discussion from county Fire Department regarding the increased need for Emergency Medical Services (EMS), including permanent ambulance service and certified personnel and equipment for the Quad City Fire Station; with possible action to authorize the Economic Development Department to apply for potential grant or American Rescue funding for these Emergency Medical Services; and any other matters incident thereto. This request is made in an effort to improve response time and to protect the public health, safety and welfare of these rural communities.
