Discussion and possible action to approve the purchase of one (1) 2023 Chevy Express 4500 School Bus from Creative Bus Sales for a total amount not to exceed One Hundred Fifteen Thousand Sixteen Dollars ($115,016.00) for the Juvenile Department pursuant to Section 271.101 and 271.102 of the Texas Local Government Code, Cooperative Purchasing Program; Buy Board Contract #630-20, Item S0796. [Account #1001-2450-001-470000 (Capital Outlay)]

Issue: There is a need for a new 30 passenger school bus for the Juvenile Department.

Solution: Authorize the purchase utilizing cooperative pricing through Texas Buy Board.

Result: Purchase of a new school bus will be used to replace current school bus that is under constant need of repair.
