Discussion and possible action to adopt the 2023 Webb County Fire Code and any other matters incident thereto.

Issue: Not having a current fire code in place, will limit the county’s ability to regulate and protect life and property in an event of a fire and/or hazardous condition in buildings.

Solution: Adopt fire and life safety code to regulate potential fire and hazardous conditions in buildings.

Result: 2023 Webb County Fire Code will safeguard life and property from fires and hazardous conditions in buildings the unincorporated areas of Webb County.
